Transport for London recently held a contest, asking people to submit poems about etiquette on the London Underground.
I saw the advert and wrote a few, only to find out that the deadline for submissions had passed!

Space
On the tube it can be a bit of a squish,
“Please, more space!” we all tend to wish,
So please move down inside the carriage,
It may even improve your chances of marriage!
Doors
“Stand clear of the doors!” you may sometimes hear,
Not to upset you but to make it clear,
That the doors have to close before we can go—
If you get in the way it makes our journey too slow!
Backpacks
If your backpack gets in people’s faces,
You’re invading their little personal spaces.
So please carry your bag down below,
That way we can actually say “Hello!”
